Dr. George Kwabena Asamoah – Vice President

Dr. George Kwabena Asamoah is an accomplished marketing scholar, educator, and practitioner whose career reflects a deep commitment to advancing marketing education and professional practice in Ghana.

He previously served as Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC), where he played a pivotal role in strengthening academic research, graduate programmes, and faculty development.

With more than 25 years of teaching experience, Dr. Asamoah has shaped the next generation of marketing professionals across some of Ghana’s leading institutions. At the Ghana Institute of Journalism, now UniMAC, he lectured for over 15 years in courses such as Principles of Marketing, Marketing Communications, Strategic Marketing Planning, and Entrepreneurship. He also spent more than a decade at Wisconsin International University College, teaching Marketing Research, Consumer Behaviour, International Marketing, Strategic Brand Communication, and Social Media Marketing.

Alongside his academic career, Dr. Asamoah has extensive industry experience in B2B marketing and strategic brand development. His work focuses on designing marketing solutions that drive business growth, strengthen brand positioning, and build enduring customer relationships. He has also managed international marketing operations, vendor partnerships, and major events across global markets.

Known for his energetic and hands-on leadership style, Dr. Asamoah is deeply committed to bridging theory and practice. His work emphasizes research excellence, knowledge transfer, and the development of innovative, globally competitive business leaders.
