Dr. Dorothy Odamea Asare - Registrar

Dr. Dorothy Odamea Asare is an accomplished academic administrator whose career combines rigorous scholarship with extensive experience in university governance and quality assurance.

She holds a PhD in Business and Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), specializing in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. Her academic training also includes an MBA in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information Systems.

Prior to joining RIUC, Dr. Asare served at Christ Apostolic University College as both Lecturer and Senior Administrative Officer within the Quality Assurance Unit. In this role, she played a central part in strengthening institutional systems and academic standards, leading accreditation exercises, coordinating faculty assessments, and overseeing moderation processes that ensure academic quality and compliance.

In addition to her administrative leadership, Dr. Asare remains actively engaged in teaching and mentorship. She has supervised MBA theses at KNUST and continues to support the development of emerging scholars and professionals.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of technology, finance, and institutional performance. She has contributed to academic conferences and publications exploring topics such as fintech ecosystems, big data analytics, ERP implementation, and competitive strategy in financial institutions.

Dr. Asare brings a strong combination of analytical expertise, academic insight, and collaborative leadership to her role – supporting RIUC’s mission to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and institutional excellence.
