Choosing where to study abroad is one of the most important decisions an international student will make. At Rosebank International University College (RIUC), we are committed to delivering industry-focused programmes that prepare graduates for global careers. Our academic approach blends theory with hands-on learning, ensuring that students graduate with the practical skills, confidence, and professional exposure needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market. Small class sizes also mean students benefit from personalised support, close faculty engagement, and a collaborative learning environment.
Global Education in the Heart of West Africa
Located in Accra, a fast-growing regional hub for business, technology, and hospitality, RIUC places students at the centre of opportunity.
The city offers access to thriving industries, diverse cultural experiences, and a dynamic student lifestyle - all while remaining more affordable than many traditional international study destinations.
Renowned for its hospitality, Ghana provides a safe and friendly environment where international students can live, study, and explore with confidence.
For international students seeking quality education, global exposure, and excellent value, Rosebank International University College and Ghana offer a truly rewarding study experience.
Immigration Regulations and Regularisation
Non-Ghanaian (International) Students are required by Ghanaian law to obtain a resident permit to enable a peaceful stay throughout the length of their study.
RIUC's Admissions Office helps Non-Ghanaian students maintain a legal immigration status.
We provide support to regularise Non-Citizenship Ghana Cards and Residence Permits.
To register for a Non-Citizen Identity Card, visit a Foreigner Identification Management System (FIMS) registration centre with a valid passport and a copy of admissions letter.
Kindly note that the Non–Citizen Card is a mandatory requirement from the Government of Ghana. It shall be used for all transactions that require identification.
Foreign nationals who do not have this card will be unable to apply for a Residence Permit, register SIM cards, open bank accounts, acquire driver’s license or even have access to some essential services in the country.
Upon arrival in Ghana, International Students are advised to visit the Admissions Office to apply for their residence permits. You'll need:
- A valid passport (6 months valid at least)
- A photocopy of your admission letter
- A photocopy of your Non-Citizen Card
- A photocopy of the receipt of your current tuition fees payment
- A photocopy of the bio page of your passport
