
Mr. Kojo Akuokoh Frimpong - Head of Programme, Faculty of ICT
Mr. Kojo Akuokoh Frimpong is an academic and technology consultant with more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of information systems, digital transformation, and higher education.
Currently a PhD candidate in Information Systems at the University of South Africa, he brings together strong academic insight and practical expertise in cloud technologies, accounting information systems, and educational technology.
Mr. Frimpong has taught at several leading universities in Ghana, including the University of Ghana, Wisconsin International University College, University of Professional Studies, Valley View University, GIMPA, and Ghana Communication Technology University. His teaching portfolio spans subjects such as Accounting Information Systems, Mobile Computing, and Digital Business Technologies.
In addition to his academic work, he has led numerous digital transformation initiatives across universities and private organizations. His projects include implementing virtual learning systems during the COVID-19 pandemic, developing integrated payment-enabled websites, and deploying cloud-based accounting platforms for institutions and businesses.
A recognized trainer and consultant, Mr. Frimpong has trained more than 5,000 students and professionals in computerised and cloud accounting systems including TallyPrime, Sage, and QuickBooks. Through his teaching, research, and consultancy, he continues to advance technology-driven education and digital innovation.
